To the fans of Al's Journal:
Al's great TKA adventure is drawing to a conclusion. In fact it ended twice already this year for her but like the Energizer Bicycle Bunny, she just keeps on pedaling and pedaling.
Al is not Miss Moneybags. She worked multiple extra jobs, for 4 years, to earn money towards this trip. The additional $3,000 that TKA now requires from each cyclist to finish the trip is a significant expense. She is a school teacher and a very hardworking worthy individual and many of us have enjoyed her up and down adventures around the world.
Let's help her get to the end of the ride New Year's Day in the Rose Bowl Parade.
Craig Carpenter is Al's website master and longtime music and cycling friend. He attends to her concerns at home in the mountains. At our request, Craig has agreed to record and deposit your contributions to Al's checking account (which she accesses along the way using a debit card).
